What thoughts, feelings, or ideas might help them to see things more positively and keep from giving up? What are some troubling situations and some possible sources of strength that could help people endure or see beyond their troubles.

In the general, do you respect the opinions of persons older than you? Do you think older people have the same values or perspectives that younger people do?
